Exciting things happening......

Here we are, website launched! First blog post for Shady Creek Labradors!

In this post I will let you in on what to expect as we move forward in this year.

June 1 is Chloe's 2nd birthday! She will be eligible to have her genetic testing done then. We are anticipating this and will let you know when we get this done and the results will be uploaded on the website. We will also let you know when we find a stud and when the estimated time for puppies will be. Chloe is registered with AKC and her papers will be uploaded onto the website asap! As soon as we know she is bred we will then let you know when the window is open for you to get your name on the waiting list for that little fur baby that will change your life. Have I mentioned that lab puppies have to be the dearest things - soo rolly polly, with floppy little ears as they run around. These blocky head pups are so picture perfect!

We hope to be able to share a pic each time we post and hope to let you in on a little of our lives and what we teach our dogs and how to grow such a fun loving, friendly pup/dog. We would hope you would never regret your investment with us or anywhere but instead make you wonder how you ever lived without them.

Right now we are teaching Chloe the word "calm". I feel like this is a small word but means so much! As our pup grew up we always reminded our children to talk quietly to her and to be gentle and calm around her. I think that goes a long way as they grow and pays off when you have a grown dog that can be calm and only hyper when you WANT them to be.
